Studio stores less per vault (215 hrs FHD, 110 hrs 4K 60fps, 55 hrs 4K 120fps) but embeds timecode, color metadata, subtitles, chapters, and GPS directly in exports. LUTs delivered alongside. What happens if BillionMediaVault shuts down?
We commit to at least 12 months advance notice before any service discontinuation. During that period, your account stays active at the same rate and you can export all your files via the desktop app or cloud integrations. Your footage is never locked in. Retention locks and audit exports remain active throughout. We will never delete your data without giving you time to copy it out.
Is the quality really safe?
Yes. Best tier uses modern codecs optimized for visual fidelity at 10-bit color depth, visually indistinguishable from the original for most workflows. Studio tier stores your media in an editor-friendly format with full metadata preservation and exports to ProRes (MOV) or DNxHR (MXF) on demand.
